Make Next Year Your "Twenty Twenty Won"

We made it! The end of the longest year is only a few weeks away! 2020 held a lot of lessons for us – necessity is the mother of invention (quarantine crafts!); streaming is the new cinema; masks can be a fashion accessory; and so much more. Arguably the most important thing we learned from 2020 is how much we cherish time with our family and friends.

As the end of the year approaches and we gather (safely, of course) with our loved ones and the conversation turns to the year ahead I challenge you all to make real plans for that vacation together in 2021. The team at Avondale Travel works with groups of any size.

Traveling with family and friends is a fantastic experience. There are so many options available for group travel that it is easy to find that perfect fit!

One of the best ways for a family group to travel is on a cruise. Cruise ships offer something for everyone, no matter their age, and allow you to spend time as much (or as little) time together as you would like. There are activities for children, teens and for adults – from kids’ clubs to sports to wine tastings and everything in between. A cruise allows everyone to pursue their own pastimes during the day but spend time together as a family at dinner and into the evening.

A private group planned exclusively for you is another great option. Tours can be tailored to your personal interests – explore your family roots; walk in the steps of religious pilgrims, enjoy a shopping spree in the boutiques of Milan; visit the home of your favorite wine! Having your own local guide will enrich your experience with insider knowledge. Your vacation is arranged around your schedule and activities.

There are many other ways to travel with your own small group. These are just a couple of the options available to you. With 2020 nearing its end, our team is anxiously awaiting to help you make next year your "twenty twenty won!"

Warmest wishes for a wonderful holiday season and a new year full of health, wealth, and happiness
